Born on August 23, 1988 in Fort Worth, Texas, USA, Kimberly “Kim” Marie Matula has been acting since she was just 12-years-old. When she turned 15, she sent out her headshots and landed an agent. After graduating from high school, Kim studied film at the University of Texas at Arlington, but dropped out because her acting career was taking off.
In 2008, she appeared in the TV movie, Queen Sized (2008,) and had a recurring role on the show, Pink (2007). Shortly after moving to L.A. to focus on her acting career, Kim was snatched up by the long-running soap-opera, The Bold and the Beautiful (1987) to play Hope Logan, youngest daughter to heroine Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang.) Kim quickly became the headlining actress of the show between 2012-2014. Despite a Daytime Emmy Award nomination, Matula opted against renewing her contract and left the show in December 2014.
Following her departure from the world of soap operas, Kim co-starred in Lifetime’s second season of UnREAL as Tiffany James. In 2017, she headlined the unfortunately short-lived FOX series, L.A. to Vegas as Ronnie. Also appearing in two episodes of the following series: 9-1-1: Lone Star & The Sex Lives of College Girls.
