The 2025 Elton John AIDS Foundation Oscars Viewing Party on Sunday, March 2, at West Hollywood Park in Los Angeles brought together over 100 celebs to celebrate the Oscars and raise money for this important cause! At this event, Kim stunned in a ravishing orange halter dress, debuting a darker shade of tresses that makes her eyes pop. I, for one, can’t wait to see what else 2025 has in store for Miss Matula.

Kim Matula played Hope Logan on The Bold and the Beautiful from 2010 to 2014, although she popped in two or three more times after. Since leaving daytime, she has worked consistently snagging series regular roles, making guest star appearances, and playing Jane Curtin in the 2024 movie Saturday Night. She and her castmates recently posed for the cover of TheWrap Magazine. Matula is front and center, creating great buzz for her work in the critically acclaimed film.

Kim Matula’s Christmas holiday is going to the dogs! The former Bold and the Beautiful star stars in Hallmark Channel’s The Finnish Line which could best be described as an “adventure rom-com” because Matula had a few stunts to learn once she landed on the set in Iceland and Finland. She plays Anya, a woman hoping to redeem her father’s dog-sledding legacy by racing his greatest rival. And if that wasn’t enough, Anya just might find love along the way.

Portraying Jane Curtin in Saturday Night, Kim Matula is quick to admit the “nerves kicked in” as soon as she heard she got the part. The film chronicles the 1975 premiere of NBC‘s Saturday Night (now known as Saturday Night Live) and, while the ensemble cast may be telling the story of one night only, Matula shares the research to get the time period “just right” was real—down to the eyebrows and bell bottoms.

Kim Matula has been in a diverse group of projects from her role in The Bold and the Beautiful which earned her a Daytime Emmy Award nomination, to playing a wrestling diva in Fighting with my Family alongside Florence Pugh and The Rock. Originally from Texas, she made her way to California where her talent has been rewarded in so many ways. Her excitement for the craft is contagious and genuine. With the release of Saturday Night, directed by Jason Reitman, we can only expect her light to be shined brighter and our screens to be filled with stories she will be telling.
